It’s safe to say that Christmas is going to look a little different this year, and we want to do our bit to support our wonderful local businesses this festive season.
This November, we’re taking our annual Christmas shopping event online. Over the next four weeks, we’ll be taking the time to showcase the Friends of Captain’s Club and their fabulous festive gifts.
The first instalment of our month-long virtual Christmas shopping event is next Friday, and we’ll be taking to our social channels to highlight each one of our sellers and a selection of their top gifts.

Fashion and lifestyle | Friday 20th November
First up in our shopping event series will be fashion and lifestyle gifts. This includes beautiful clothing, scarves and accessories from Browns Clothing and Jane’s Boutique, and jewellery from Monilli. The guys at Stary Eyed will have all manner of gorgeous jewellery, accessories, and homeware. And finally, we’ll have beautiful, freshly cut flowers from the team at Parkwood Florists.
Gifts and stocking fillers | Friday 27th November
On Friday 27th November, we’ll be providing you with all the gift inspiration you need this Christmas. We’ll have gorgeous, locally-made gifts from The Shore and More and The Kiln & I, and the cutest handmade tree decorations from And Tied With a Bow. Plus, The Gift PA will have all your postal presents sorted with their range of build-your-own gift boxes and letterbox gifts.
Food and drink | Friday 4th December
Next up is food and drink. Let’s face it, because Christmas is all about sampling delicious festive fare, we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll have award-winning conserves from Naked Jam, scrumptious sweet treats from Chocolate by Miss Witt, and Italian olive oil from Casa Lorenzo. And to round things off, we’ll have handcrafted gifts for gin-lovers from Pothecary Gin.
Captains Club gifts | Friday 11th December
In the final instalment of our virtual shopping event, we’ll be narrowing down some of our favourite Captain’s Club spa gifts and vouchers. With everything from Champagne afternoon tea to luxurious treatments, we’ve got gifts for everyone on your list this Christmas. All you need to do is choose whether to have our vouchers delivered directly to their door or have them land in their inbox instead.
