That’s right, you’re now looking at the Gold award winner of ‘Best small or boutique hotel’ in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area! And we couldn’t be more delighted.
We’re not normally ones to blow our own trumpet. However, we wanted to take the time to celebrate and congratulate all of our wonderful crew members that helped get us to where we are today. Here are just a few of the things that stood out for the judges and played a key part in us taking home this coveted award.
Our location
Our position on the banks of the River Stour is perfect for exploring Christchurch and beyond, and it’s something that didn’t go unnoticed by this year’s judges. Whether you’re in search of a quiet weekend near the sea or a few days filled with adventure, we’re nestled in an idyllic corner of Christchurch but still within easy reach of all the best things to see and do nearby.
Our service
The visiting judge remarked on the very attentive, friendly nature of our crew – something we really pride ourselves on. Our food
Another element that the Destination Awards judges also picked up on was our food. Our locally sourced drinks, fabulous menu, and stunning riverside setting all cropped up in the judge’s comments – something we were truly delighted about. Our bar team is renowned in the local area for crafting amazing cocktails, but it’s also wonderful to hear that our menu made such an impact when the judges recently paid us a visit.
Our plans for the future
Nothing stands still around here for long, and it’s great to know that it shows. Our plans for the future were a key reason why we were marked so highly by the judges. Not only have we recently refurbished our function suite and conference facilities to make them even more fabulous, we’ll also be revamping our bathrooms and state rooms over the coming months.
