We started the night in fabulous fashion with Taittinger Champagne and canapés before heading over to the Waterside Suite. Tim gave a lovely welcome speech and Nick Henwood said grace before we all dived into a sumptuous 3 course meal (thanks Chef!) – all washed down with a delicious selection of matching wines.

While we dined we were serenaded by the excellent classical singers, ‘Eden’, who performed songs such as ‘Nessun Dorma’ and ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ setting the perfect ambience for a lovely meal with friends.

Once everyone’s plates were clear, we surprised our guests with a fourth course including a cheese grazing station and macaron tower – we know how to celebrate! After indulging in all the delicious food, it was time to head through to our bar which was transformed into a nightclub with a photobooth and casino.

Our old favourite, Gareth Gates, came back to Captain’s Club for another excellent show – it wouldn’t be a true CC celebration without him! We got plenty of snaps of him performing but this one might just be our favourite of the night – group selfie anyone?

After a great show from him it was time for our DJ to take the stage and needless to say dancing ensued until the early hours. Then at 2am, shoes were off, smiles were on, and more food was served – a small parting gift of mini fish and chips for the road!
